Improving Working Conditions for Train Crews

In 2023, renovated passenger carriage attendant pools were officially opened in Severobaikalsk, Ulyanovsk and Vladivostok. Repair of sanitary and living quarters, as well as purchase of furniture, equipment, household appliances in 57 attendant pools totalled over RUB 144 million

Seven Gazelle and PAZ buses were purchased for organising transfer of personnel from Tynda, Novorossiysk, Makhachkala, Bryansk and Moscow passenger car attendant pools (Nikolayevka passenger carriage depot, Moscow–Yaroslavskaya carriage station).

To improve the living conditions of train crews on route, a large‑scale programme was launched to equip the service areas of passenger carriages with additional equipment: service showers, lockers, additional hooks for clothing, sockets, second berth for rest. The programme also includes improvement of noise insulation, installation of liquid crystal display boards in the interior of carriages, and devices for fixing ladders in vestibules. The implementation of the programme is scheduled until the end of 2025.

In December 2023, the FPC INFO corporate portal began trial operation. By the end of the year, about 10,000 employees connected to the portal. Thanks to a single information field, they can receive payslips, order statements and documents remotely, thank each other for work, congratulate each other on birthdays and have access to other useful features. By March 2024, all employees of the Company will be connected to the portal. The phased expansion of the portal functionality will be completed by the end of 2025.

Since 2022, the Company has be supplying new uniforms and issuing them to personnel. The transition to the new uniforms was fully implemented in the high‑speed train department of the Moscow–Yaroslavskaya carriage station, the Moscow Railway Agency, the St. Petersburg‑Moskovskiy carriage station, the North Caucasus Railway Agency, the Samara passenger carriage depot and the Vladivostok passenger carriage depot. By the end of 2023, 50% of train crews and ticket agents of 29 companies in all branches of JSC FPC will be provided with updated uniforms. 100% transition to new uniforms is scheduled by the end of 2024.

More than 9.100 attendants of the 3rd grade servicing Lastochka electric trains, attendants of the 4th grade, train managers and train electricians are provided with corporate branded accessories: suitcases, covers for clothing, bags for hand luggage, documents wallets for train managers, tool bags for train electricians.
